Geri Halliwell Biography
Geri Halliwell was born August 6 1972 in London. She is an English pop singer, songwriter, television personality, writer, and actress, who became famous under the nickname Ginger Spice as a member of the Spice Girls. As solo artist she has received 4 Brit Award nominations and released four number-one singles in UK and sold about four million albums worldwide. Shortly before launching her solo career, Halliwell appeared in the fly-on-the-wall documentary Geri, a 90 minute piece for the UK television channel Channel 4 by Molly Dineen.
