Isla Fisher Biography
Isla Fisher was born in Muscat, the capital of the Middle Eastern nation of Oman on February 3, 1976. Her Scottish parents moved her and her four brothers to Australia when Isla was a young child. At 9 years old she was appearing in Australian TV commercials. Isla Fisher landed some small parts in the Australian TV series "Bay Cove". This led to a bigger part in the series "Paradise Beach". When that show ended she landed a role in the long-running Australian soap opera "Home and Away". While working on that show she published two best-selling novels, "Seduced By Fame" and "Bewitched".
