Nell McAndrew Biography
Nell McAndrew (born as Tracey Jane McAndrew) was born in Leeds, England on November 6th, 1973, to a working-class family. Throughout childhood Tracy was ever the athletic one and dreamed of becoming a policewoman. McAndrew aggressively shopped her look around after moving to London. It was The Daily Star newspaper was the first to put her on its front cover. Nell McAndrew took on her first big job as the real life representation of the video game character, Lara Croft. She toured as the Tomb Raider heroine for over a year, attracting attention at conventions and in print. This experience was regarded by McAndrew as invaluable, even though she was denied the opportunity to appear at the British movie premiere of Tomb Raider, starring Angelina Jolie. Nell McAndrew has supported charities including Help The Aged, Breast Cancer Awareness, DebRA, the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, SSAFA and The Lymphoma Association.
